Tiffany Foster

National PTA Board Member

Tiffany Foster is a dedicated child advocate, with a longstanding commitment to promoting positive, empowering, and enriching experiences for children and families. Currently serving on National PTA’s Board of Directors, Tiffany brings a wealth of experience gained from various leadership roles at the local, district, and national PTA levels. Notably, she completed a prestigious year-long equity fellowship with National PTA’s Center for Family Engagement.

Focusing on community engagement, diversity, and inclusion strategies, Tiffany consistently forges new partnerships with local nonprofits and businesses in Durham, NC, to enhance resources available to families. From conducting leadership workshops to facilitating family financial literacy classes and hosting webinars on critical topics like navigating a housing crisis and understanding tenant rights, Tiffany strives to share the value and mission of PTA while ensuring her community is well-informed about available resources.

Beyond her involvement with PTA, Tiffany serves as a commissioner for the Durham County Women’s Commission and the Durham Racial Equity Commission. She also contributes as a Durham Public Schools Parent Ambassador and holds roles as Parent Lead for the Durham Public Schools Title I Steering Committee and a member of the Emily Krzyzewski Center Parent Advisory Council. Recently, Tiffany was recognized as an Emily’s List Ignite Change Fellow.

Tiffany holds a B.A. in Sociology from UNC-Chapel Hill and has cultivated a successful career in finance in her home state of North Carolina. She takes immense pride in her family, including her husband, Eric, and two beautiful daughters aged 15 and 7.
